help me please connection problem

My Satellite Setup
openbox x-800
My Location
ukraine
i am having openbox x-800....i tried to connect my reciever with pc via null modem cable but it doesn't shows any thing..means connected or not..even i tried to update through updator it shows no progress.....please help to solve this problem i am new to this....any help will be appericiated :confused:

Perhaps your PC O/S is not compatible.
With Nokia receivers, I had to use Windows 98.
Are you using a genuine null modem cable? Check this first.

yes i got the solution for this...please help me how i can find any patch for my reciever to watch multivision what i have to do??? please help me where i can find this some keys or any thing

MV channels will stop transmision this weekend (officially 31/5/2008).
If you are after adult channels, I suggest that you would buy an adult subscription smartcard (hopefully your receiver has a CI slot)
 
soory i couldn't buy them becoz i am living in ukraine they don't sell cards for multivision...and other english channels..if other way then plz give me some information

MV is/was a subscription only for people living in France.
If you are after adult subscription smartcards, then check our site sponsers websites and look under viewing cards, adult subscription, etc.
But your receiver must have a campatible CAM support for the encryption system ordered.
