Hi,
being new to this, I am about to embark on installing my vu duo on a motorised 80cm dish.
i have a quad lnb. Where I am confused is the image from the handbook of the motor has 2 cable connections, 1 to the lnb and 1 to the receiver. I was wanting to have 2 cables to go to the receiver as I bought the twin receiver to be able to watch and record different channels. Am I being stupid, do I need some sort of adaptor to the connection to split or will there be an 'out' from the lnb to the motor?

Sorry for the dumb question but if someone could help I would appreciate it.

Thanks!

You have a quad lnb so one port connects to the motor and then goes to lnb1 on the receiver and the other port connects directly to lnb 2 on the receiver.

You cannot split the signal from an lnb due to the way the lnb works. The lnb uses a voltage difference to select a vertical polarised signal or horozontal polarised signal. If one tuner is asking for horizontal and the other is asking for vertical its not going to work.

Also if you add into the 22kHz tone and then things get really messed up :D
