im new trying to setup a system

hi there

i am interested in gettng freesat to different tv's in my home
can i do this from the original sky dish and plum this into an amplifier with 4 outputs or do i need a 4 output lnb?
i only have a single feed from the dish to the house and the dish is a nitemare to get to.
i will be getting the freesat boxes as required.
i also have my original sky box
can i purchase the free sky card and use this with the signal coming from the sat dish with the lnb and freesat on the others?

though im new at this i would like to learn how to do do this before i have to pay for someone external.

btw
i moved into the flat and the dish has a single cable coming into the loft and then 4 coaxes to rooms. 3 of which are disconnected...

Hi,

To feed 4 receivers you need a quad LNB, i.e with 4 outputs.

For more than 4 outputs you can also use a quattro LNB and a multiswitch.

The easiest and cheapest option is to get a quad LNB from ebay, and connect up as appropriate.

Yes, a Sky box will work off the same dish.

Or 8 output LNBs are not exorbitant, also from ebay
