help nilesat 7W

hi I decided to use my 1.8 dish on nilesat 7W Digital but am unable to get it
I was able to pickup sirius 5E but unable to get nilesat does the dish need to be moved up are down when you move it to the west so anyone have any ideas what to do

OK, so you're about 1 to 2 West, Nilesat should be at about the same elevation, the LNB skew will of course be different.

PS. Is this one of those Fortecstar dishes?

ok I was able to get sirius 5E then i kept moving the dish to the west very very slow also I was using wolsey satellite meter to help me but nerver shows any signal for nilesat so I just thought if the dish needs to be moved up are down when moving it to the west

Line up on 8W and nudge the dish around a smidgen.

dame!!! I think because of the tree when moving it to the west there a big tree in the way as I was able to pickup sirius 5E but nothing else after that I will try moving the dish to a different spot and see if that help. are I will get my chainsaw and get rid of the tree lOL!!!!!

Ditto! Get 5E but nothing until 30W! Really wish I could get showtime on 7W! I'll have to get my chainsaw out but there are still trees in the neighbours garden!

Its not free, you could get a subscription but it opens on a diablo cam.

I didn't know that, unfortunately I can't receive nilesat. Hopefully it will be back.
