help no horizontal channels no signal???!!!

hi every one i have a digitalb caon HD (w2 16.0E)box and i done a factory reset now i get my vertical channels but not horizontal ones some times signal jumps i searched the forum and they were saying to change the LNB i did no result on it what could it be???

Was it working before a factory reset?

Worth checking the LNb configuration set up, should be KU universal.
 
What size dish are you using?? Eutelsat W2 failed at the beginning of 2010 and was replaced by 3 spare satellites - and some of the DigitAlb channels are transmitting off the elderly Sesat 1 which to be blunt is putting a dreadful signal into western Europe.

You are probably getting 10719V, 10758V, 10941V ok - they are on the high power Eurobird 16A

The HD channels are on 10975H and are transmitted off Sesat 1

Has it ever worked? If so the you just need to tweak something in the settings.
 
satman: before xsmas half of them were working before they change the frec after only horizontal channels worked i have 3 hd channels transmitting on horizontal before today they were working but with my new LNB the arent signals jumps on the hd as well now!!!!

DOUBLE Check or triple check you have the right parameters entered - its easy to miss something really simple.

Cant see any evidence of a frequency change for the HD channels in recent months - if it happened KoS missed it in their updates.

i moved the satellite just a bit east i would say 15.8e is motorised so two fine east and the hd horizontal came back working but not the horizontal non hd channels is a breaking voice on them some times and quality80% and signal73% jumps to 0 zero :(
 
Sound like the dish alignment may need tweaking - big dishes need setting up very accurately.

Also make sure you have all the technical parameters set correct for the HD channels - as HD have more parameters than usual

thanks analougesat i think i need to call the professionals with the ladder for that i cant tweak it from the second floor from my window!!!
 
We will get you up and running somehow :D

Put an advert in the installer wanted subsection asking for a quote if you want the alignment checking - we have at least 2 of our staff who do installs not too far from you
