hi there

can anyone help me with this. i read back and forward the mr guide and still my laptop doesnt recognize my cam

i have a compaq presario 2500, a matrix cam revolutions and this were the steps i did:

1. i installed ucas1_3 (with xp option)
2. insert cam in laptop
3. win xp, couldnt find driver, so i pointed to mr_pcmia folder, which has the pcmia.inf
4. selected the controler for my laptop ( which one is it? i selected O2Micro OZ6912 CardBus because is the one that is installed when i browse my hardware on control panel)
5. win xp installs the controller, but it says that it couldnt start the CAM...

i read that many ppl could install their cam's with XP...

Help.. Thanks

Yes it is true many people do..... but unfortunately there are many people like you and me that cannot get their cam recognised in their laptop. Hp Omnibooks and Compaqs seem to be the problem although I know that some do manage it. I wish I could give you a solution but I cannot
