Without knowing the capability of that phone it's impossible to say for sure. You will need to read up on streaming to the Internet using VLC, that's in the tutorials section. Once you have that up and running it's then down to the phone to receive that stream.

Slingbox can stream to your phone, is working perfect in combination with Dreambox.
It is possible to change channels by pressing the number keys of your phone :)

thanks i know the sling box does it but dont want another box and expense , but just wondered if you can do it with in the home net work as i have a htc diamond.
 
if htc can play mpeg-2.yes you can.i have symbian 3d edision mobile with coreplay but it does not surpot mpeg-2 video only audio and if i go open url _http://dreamboxip:31344 i can hear.if you wand to see your dreambox from all around world withyour mobile you can use ORB
