Hi Guys,

I have 2 decoders (1 sky+ and 1 x DM800) and 2 dishes (dish 1 with twin LNB @ 28.2e and dish 2 with single LNB @ 13e).

Firstly I can't change the LNBs (can't access them). How can I route the 13e and 28.2e to me DM800 whilst my Sky+ always has two 28.2e feeds also i.e. I only ocassionally use my DM800 but don't want to keep reconnecting cables.

ANY help MUCH appreciated :)

Cheers

You can't change the LNBs, but can you add extra cables to the 28.2 LNB? As it sounds like you have a quad output LNB which would have been installed with SKY+.

The way to do it would be to get an extra feed from the 28.2 LNB (if it does indeed have a spare) and feed it, along with a feed from the 13e dish, into a 2 way diseqc switch then into the DM800.

EDIT: My apologies I missed that it was a twin LNB,

I suppose you could feed one of the 28.2 feeds through the DM800 into the sky box using the OUT on the tuner, but this would allow you to only use one receiver at a time.

It would also be worth noting that he would only receive FTA programs from 28.2 E on the DM
