Help Please With Eurobird 1-Astra 2 (28E) Channels Missing

Dreambox 500s
Echostar 3000
My Location

I need help and advice please, I have Scand the channels on the Dreambox 500 and I am missing all the HD channels such as Discovery and History channels + film channels .Can I manually put the channels in ,and if so how do I do this please.:confused:
 
You need an HD receiver to scan those channels.

Yup - the DB500 is a standard def box not a high def box.
 
Thank you for your replys m8,I just thought you could add them with out an HD Box.:confused:
 
No - HD tends to use a different transmission format to standard def and SD boxes wont even see the frequency as active.
