Help please with lost PIN code for Curtis freeview box

Hi there, sorry bit of a novice at this. I'm trying to delete all the unwanted channels for my elderly Mum. She has a Curtis DVB T little freeview unit attached to her TV for which I can't find the manual. When I come to delete it's asking for a PIN code. Does anyone know what this might be please? Try 0000 - that is an almost universal default.
