My Satellite Setup
Ross receiver with 65cm dish. Also SL65 receiver

Hi All,
A few years ago I bought a Lidl Silver Crest SL65 receiver & dish set, it worked fine but I could only get foreign language channels (set up to Astra 1B,19.2) so I stuffed it in the attic and fogot it. I have recently bought a cheapo kit from B&Q (made by Ross). I have set this up to the astra 2, 28.2 satellite and I have a good signal and can view the crop of FTA channels. However the Ross receiver is very basic and the EPG is very poor so I decided to try the old SL65 receiver. The automatic search has brought up all the Astra 2 channels and I have saved them when offered the option but I cannot view them. The info bar across the bottom of the screen still says Astra 1B or Hotbird 1.3. I have tried to delete these satellites and add the Astra 28 east option, all to no avail! The Astra 2 signal is at 82% so I feel that I should be able to get the crop of FTA channels. Does anyone know what I'm not doing??

To create or edit a Satellite, go into Antenna Setup, ensure the top line ("Satellite") has its target highlighted in yellow, then either Edit by pressing 1, or Add another one by pressing 2.

Not very intuitive.
 
Hi there, I tried your suggestion. It was not the direct caue of my problem but it did prompt me to explore the menu more fully. To cut a long story short, I have now got the box up & running with several channels and favourites etc. Thanks again,
