Help, re-tuning my sat back to 26.0E

My Satellite Setup
motorised dish Technomate TM 5300D+ receiver
My Location

I have a 1.8 metre dish with a DiSEqC1.2 Stab USALS motor connected to a Techomate 5300D+ receiver.

With a rush of blood to the head I tried to add a the sat Nilesat 7.0W to my satellite list (which ranges from Thor 1.0W to Astra 28.2E) and in doing so I have lost my Arabsat 26E signal.

I still have the freesat 28.2E signal and Hotbird 13E and can get the channels on those two. Which means the motor still works.
But somehow I've knocked my dish out of alignment for Arabsat 26E.

How do I retune it back to its default where I could get all the Arabsat 26E channels?
For some reason I've done something to my system where when I select 26E and scan I get the 28.2E channels (freeview sat and not Arabsat).

How do I reset and get things back to how they were?

A 1.8m dish on a DiSEqC motor runs every risk of stripping the gears in the motor, also runs the risk of being blown off arc, as the mast clamp is not generally very strong. The dish is simply too big for the motor.

If it's blown off arc, then try tipping each side of the dish to see if your signal improves on your reference satellite.

Yes, you'll need to take it back to ref and realign the dish/motor. If checking 26e with the receiver, your need to find a transponder that's not duplicated on both 23.5 and 28e as you may get readings from either of these satellites....although the beam width will be fairly tight for that size dish.

What dish have you got out of interest? :)

What did you do to mess it up. Did you adjust anything on the dish or motor?

I would suggest starting from scratch following rolfs motor set up guide.

Thoough I would suspect, trying to get a good arc with such an enormous dish on such a pathetically small motor will be problematical. The backlash and freeplay in the motor shaft itself, and sag in the motor shaft will make it difficult to get right.

I bet the noise from the motor cogs inside is horrendous.:-rofl2:-rofl2
