Help required in HDMI in a showroom

I've been asked to provide a TV showroom with high definition cabling from a three , possibly four sources, one signal running individually to four televisions.

I can envisage that since there is to be just one picture on the TVs at any one time, I do not need a matrix, and therefore the overall system would consist of outputs from the BluRay DVD, SkyHD and the Freesat PVR, three cables running into a simple HDMI switching box (which also comes with a remote control), out to a four way amplified switcher, and onto the televisions.

The overall cable run from source to TV is something like 25 metres in total and I am worried that this may give rise to some quality issues on the screens.

Is there any rule of thumb about the lengths of cable that can be used in such a system, where the remote switch should be installed (close to the source or close to the splitter), and whether there is a minimum specification of cable that should be used when carrying out such an installation.

Any pointers to other sites covering the above information would be gratefully received to be read through at length.

maximum length of HDMI cable without signal loss is around 10 to 50ft depending on quality of cables used etc.. you could go down a difrent route and use HDMI over cat5/6 baluns this allows the cable run to be around 150ft in length for 1080P you would require 1 x TX and 1 x Rx per screen with 2 x cat5/6 cables running from each balun to each Rx balun then the splitter and other equipment could all be located in a back room or office HDMI baluns are quite expensive but they do work fine.

A few weeks ago I ran a 30 metre amoured hdmi cable from a customers living room to another point on the otherside of his house, it went from sky hd to a 2 way splitter one on main tv and one in games room, no visual difference either of us could tell in quality on the long run,so good result;)

He had spent a fortune on lead though LOL don't think money was an object for him.
 
Thanks for the answers. I am more concerned over the final position of the two devices in between source and display cabinet, and of course there are three cables, six connectors and two other devices in line, which would restrict the overall distances from the maximum values given by the manufacturers.

I will make some better measurements of the showroom this week.
