HELP to align Thor 0.8 and Sirius 4.8 with Monoblock LNB

Hi everyone ! i just need some advices to align my dish. i bought a monoblock LNB which suppose to receive Sirius and Thor "4.3 degrees" and my dish size is 60 cm.
Are those info correct ? (lnb degree + Dish size)
The problem is that i can only receive Sirius which is the main LNB but nothing about THOR :( i tried to change the diseq setting from a to b but nothing there.

Do anyone know or can give me any advice about that ?

Please upload a photo of how you have the monoblock set up.

Also, it is worth trying to receive Thor on its own, with a normal LNB, just to prove that you can get it OK.
 
A 60cm dish is not ideal for monobloc use, the gap between Sirius 4.8 East and Thor/Intelsat at 1 West is more like 6 degrees, which side of the LNB do you have clamped as the main focus?
 
Can you confirm that the monoblock you have has a 4.3° seperation, as Thor and Sirius are 5.6° apart. You may be better off with two seperate LNB's and a small multi bracket or possibly a Hotbird/Astra monoblock.

A 4.3 deg monoblock 'might' be OK for a 5.6 deg separation, because the dish is a 60cm rather than an 80cm, could just be that its been setup wrong, hence the need for a photo. Separate LNBs allow better adjustment in any case.
 
LNb skew could also be an issue depending on location.

Well here is a link thats shows my DISH but with a single LNB as i moved the monoblock because i couldn’t make it working. The dish is aligned to SIRIUS and you can also see the LNB with has the 4.3 degrees.



PS. i have just found on a Danish site that with such sells the 4.3 LNB that you ”MUST“ use 60 cm dish. for the SIRIUS-THOR. Honestly i don't understand why this ”MUST” .

4.3º is probably a "Duo" which is designed for 19.2ºE & 23.5ºE on a 60cm dish.

If it is a Duo the lower LNB (the one that normally receives 19ºE) has to go into the dish clamp otherwise there is interference between the LNB body and the dish clamp.

I'm pretty sure that the LNB is designed for an 80cm dish to obtain the spacing for 19.2 and 23.5, but gives between five and six degrees on a 60cm dish, hence why they say on the link to the product for Thor/Sirius reception, that it is only for 60cm dishes.

This is exactly the LNB which i have , maybe it can give you guys any idea if i can use it for THOR/SIRUIS as well ?

Your link above seems to be dead.

A DUO LNb / 4.3° monobloc is designed for 19e/23e using an 80cm. It maybe however possible [as mentioned] to pull 5E/1W using the smaller 60cm dish.

I have uploaded your photos to this site, rather than an external link to them.
But, a photo of how you actually had the monoblock positioned would have been useful together with what sat is at focus., as a common mistake with monoblock setups is to put the wrong side of the LNB in the holder for the sat that's at focus.

That may not be your problem, but would be good to rule it out, before trying something different.

Did you see my link above. The Duo is for a 60cm dish, plus there is a special model for fringe reception so it could be either. From SES Astra website:

Always advised and installed them for use with an 80cm here.
 
If you look at the OP's picture of the Smart Titanium TMS43 above, it is a 4.3 degree monobloc, designed for receiving 13 and 9 East ideally on an 80cm dish, a smaller dish will mean a wider spread, so will work for a near 6 degree separation, as per Thor and Sirius.
