Help - Totally Bamboozled!

My Satellite Setup
Thomson aerial, no equipment yet

I am more of a nooby than most - I have never had satellite but have just moved into a house with a dish outside (labelled 'Thomson') from which 2 coax cables come through separate (rather scruffy) holes in the wall. The cables are terminated with female screw connectors.

My first question is why are there 2 cables? If they do different jobs, how do I tell them apart? (They look identical).

My second question is how I neaten them up? I don't want them trailing over the floor, and would like to connect them to the back of a recessed panel, like TV or telephone. Trouble is, I can find plenty of panels in DIY shops that take 1 satellite cable, or 1 plus a TV, but not 2 satellite cables. Does it have to be 2 panels, or is there a double on the market?

My final question is - if this is not the right place to post this question, can somebody explain where I should be looking?
 
S_y plus receivers have 2 tuners so you can watch 1 program while recording something different - each tuner needs it's own connection to the dish. They are called F connectors

Well don't forget that you may not need Sky at all, depending upon your viewing preference and the depth of your pockets.

You could get yourself a Freesat Box (Standard Definition for around £50, HD for around £120, or HD PVR for about £275) or a cheapo Free To Air Receiver from eg Lidl or Aldi for under £50.

These will work just fine even though the Dish etc is a "Sky" one.
 
Thanks for the advice. If this installation is a typical example of their work, I may stick to reading!
