HELP! weird problem involving sky3

HELP! weired problem has turned up involving sky3.

I have a DM5620 running jade3 cccam 2.1.4 ,white sky card.
I have the basic Irish sky package , and up untill recently a blue house freesat card to fill in the missing UK channels (running on anouther DM5620)

Now the bluey has expired sky3 has also gone. It still opens in the sky box, and I have replaced the image, cam,config, everything, in all my box's but still no sky3!:confused:

OK so I dont think Ive ever watched Sky3--but this is annoying,

Anyone got any clue as to what is happening?
 
Theres nothing weird about it at all - blue cards no longer work for the ftv channels - they were disabled a few weeks ago.
 
Oh I see - I misunderstood exactly what your setup was. Yes it should work. However you aint missing much! :D
 
Yea as I said -dont think I've ever watched it, but this is an interesting problem, cant see I've missed anything?
any Ideas would be most welcome

you actually gave the answer yourself - as you have an Irish white card, you won't get sky3, fiver and five USA. hence your need to use a (British) FTV blue house card. Now that sky has deactivated all of the blue cards, you no longer receive sky3 (and fiver and five USA). I'm not sure if there are white FTV cards available yet, but I suppose they should be, so you would need to get one of those to get the FTV channels working again.

Yes this occured to me but on checking-- sky three is a part of the Irish package, and it clears iin the skybox!!

anyway thanks for the try.
 
I had the same problem with Sky3 and I narrowed it down to CCcam on E1 boxes (7020). I didn't really care too much nor did I spend time on it but when I changed setup to newcs+mgcamd (not the card) I realize that it was clearing again. Might be worth a try...

yea it looks like something specific to sky3 and E1, when I get a chance i will swop back to newcs and mg,

im having the same problem on my DM800 with sky3 not clearing, i have the full irish package. im using BH 0.12.... again, not a whole lot on sky 3 but it's annoying that it wont clear!

looks like the image and Enigma 1& 2 are not the problem, are you using cccam 2.1.4? (Cccam 2.13.& 2.14 dont clear)-- When I have tried newcs & mg will post result . Regards
 
At last got round to changing to Newcs & Mgcamd, and yes it opens Sky3.
So must be Cccam! I assume Sky3 opens with Cccam with standard UK package?

To sum Cccam cannot open Sky3 in the Irish package!

Can Anyone out there clear SKy3 on Cccam with Irish pack?

CCcam opens Sky3 on my dm800 but only when hosted by newcs. Basically it's down to cccam only on both e1 and e2 boxes
 
yes come to think of it, i used to have the card hosted in newcs and then via cccam and that worked fine. its only since i've used cccam to host that sky3 hasnt worked
 
OK so it has to be Cccam's card-reading ability- thats the problem.
Could Cccam.config help?

Otherwise I assume card will update via Cccam 2.1.4 via Newcs, and then connect the other receivers direct to newcs (altho a bit messy) cos I seem to remember an occasional lag connecting via Cccam/Newcs.
 
dragging up an old one here... Freddy, does Investigation Discovery clear for you?? its acting exactly like Sky3 is for me.

i dont think cccam 2.1.4 will update ur card if ur using newcs to host the card!

cccam will decode channels until ur entitlements run out just fine ;)

(look on newcs entitlements page and see when they run out! :8080)

you have to use mgcamd to update ur entitlements through newcs!

go into ur newcs manage users and tick 'au' for the box with mgcamd, and also ull need to sort the relavent info for mg to enable update!

totalacedude; no I havent tried Cccam214 with newcs just assumed it would work;but I will try it out; are you speaking from experiance? (save me the effort)
