Hi,
I am in Bahrain and have my Humax receiver setup to receive signals from Arabsat, Nilesat and Hotbird through a diseq and every things are working fine.
Since my friend have another dish pointing to Insat 2 E where I can receive lot of free to air channels in C-Band, I thought of putting a splitter from the Lnb or the insat dish and connect to the 4th port of diseq.
But whenver i use a splitter even the signal on my friends receiver is lost. I am using a normal splitter..that is (900- 2150MHZ) - All ports power passing with 1 input and two outputs for this. Will this do the job or do i need to buy any thing different?
But the strange thing is that, I am unable to tune my Humax IR free receiver even if i connect the cable directly to LNB that is with out any splitter or diseq.
Do i need to do any special setting to receive C-Band signals in this receiver? I tried manual search bye putting the following frequency
