Help With Picking Sat Meter

core 2 duo 6300, dreambox 800hd,2.7mtr dish sky and ADMC sports

akrotiri, cyprus
Hi all i am after some help with picking a sat meter, i live in Cyprus and have a 2.8mtr dish and a 80cm dish i have sky on the big one and nilesat 7 west on the 80cm dish and would like to buy a sat
meter up the value of £200 the ones below are the ones i have been looking at.

First Strike1
Lexium 5110pro
lexium 7100
Satlink WS-6908

i dont really know much about them and hope you all can help me thanks in advance.
 
Any suggestions for a good Sat meter would be very helpful.

Not many of our users have that style of meter, so recommendations may be a bit thin on the ground, you may need to take a leap of faith, or see if you can find a used, but more advanced meter on ebay.
 
hi rolfw thanks for replying and any info is appreciated i take it these are low end sat meters i don't mind looking on ebay but dont really know what to look out for but thanks for replying.
 
To tell which is better you need to use all of the candidates. I have just got First Strike1. First impression - good tool,:
pluses:
- seems that battery is good;
- possible to edit transponder's list in MS Excel and transfer to FS1;
- locks signals quiet fast;
- etc

minuses
- does not lock DVBS2;
- to use it you need "third hand" for holding it, cuz screen is not visible when it just hangs on your neck;
- etc

Price +/- OK, but, of course could be smaller.
