My Satellite Setup
In the process of buying a technomate 5400 CI. with a 80cm orbital dish, have some issues relating the dish set up due to house obstructions. having dish fitted by a company....... 10th March just had set up as above fitted with diablo cam 2.3

thanks for taking the time to read this. Please acept my apologies if I am posting in the wrong location ...I have just had my system fitted. The fella that fitted my system was impressed with the amount of sats i am picking up. I am looking for digitalb on w2 16e, i have this sat in my list and have a load of channels but no digitalb. any ideas ? cheers in adance :-worship
 
You probably need a bigger dish for Digital B, but you should at least see the channels I would have thought, have you checked that you have the correct transponders listed?
 
You sure you are looking at the correct satellite ?

then get the preview channel and channel guide, under channel guide there is some info as follows

sat 16.0E eutelsat w
TP 11.471V 29.950

hope the sat dish is big enuff, dont think i could persuade the wife to get a bigger one or the neighbours..... be gutted if thats the case:mad:

I asked what size dish to buy as well.....once agin thanks for the advice gotta go and make the pennies to pay for the system....:-Nooo
 
Hi no problem.

Dish size 50-60 CM would do nicely, might need 60 cm in bad weather.

You are looking at the correct satellite just wrong TP, For digitalb you will need to be looking at the following TP's :

10975 H - SR 22500
11055 V - SR 27900
11094 V - SR 27900
11449 H - SR 27500

Rolf... & Mark Jose....... owe you both a pint....:) must try and alter TP fingers crossed, i can see this becoming a hobby....if i have probs with TP i will post again..... as i mentioned i have a diablo cam and i can get it updated ...... would it be benefical to buy a cas 3 ? I want to get the most from my system :eek:. any other mods or products i should consider ???? all help coments welcomed
 
can't go wrong with a linux box mate :)

I Don't know much about Linux systems im only 18 and study IT, i am currently saving for a dream box, so atm just playing around with my 60 cm mesh dish and used receivers. :P can you either thank me or tell me if the information i gave you worked thankyou :).
