Greetings,
Moved from the US to Lebanon. Looking to install a satellite system. Any
recommendations? I need the first step please! Reading and search will do the rest!

Welcome to the forum. :)

Installing a dish system is the easy part. What is more important is what are you going to watch and if you want to buy a subscription or not.
The satellites that can be received easily are:
Hot Bird 13E, Nilesat 7W, Amos 4W and perhaps Astra 19.2E with a large dish. There are other satellites, but these are the main ones for the time being.
If you are going to subscribe, then you are eligible to Showtime, ART and I am sure some other packages from the Middle East.
