Hispasat in Florida?

Hi, I would like to know if i would be able to get Hispasat with my Globecast dish, Cause i have tried nothing come up, and is Hispasat far from 61.5 eckostar 3
 
Make sure you are looking for the channels on the American beam. You have no hope of getting the European beam channels.

Hispasat 30W is a long way from Echostar 61.5W!
 
I want to know if it's close to the east cause when i used my compass it shows me far from west it's more likely south east am i right, and also i would like to know with my globecast 36' dish does it make any difference because it's a globecast dish not a regular dish iam not getting no Q at all i try one of the America Freq
 
Ah - you probably need to change the lnb - Europe uses linear (H/V) polarization - America tends to use circular (L/R) polarity

30 W will be out towards the east

if i change the lnb would i be able to get it and could u tell me in my area i see they give me do i have to sub that from 90 degrees the lnb skew equal 33 and is the lnb skew located from the back of the dish where the numbers are i got puzzle sometimes is the elevation accurated

Am i right what the compass gave me it was more south east far from the west

The elevation will be about right - remember for you that 30W will be on the lower part of the arc and therefore not very high in the sky for you.

Theres no guarantees that you will be able to get it, although you should have a reasonable chance.
 
is that hard to get i don't want to waste time and if can't get it at all
 
Is that a 36' or 36"... a 36' might do it... a 36" will not ... not the European beam.. the fact that it's oval doesn't really matter.... you'll get the US beam though.. !
 
Listen one of my Brother get the hispasat but not a strong signal about 60's Q and also it's only scanned 52 channel on that Freq 11884 why should it do and other to get more channel and how much channel that he should have, do u think the dish to small or the lnb not power enough it's a 30' dish

I was worried about the LNB Globecast dish would i be able to get it with that LNB or it doesnt matter. and how many channel should i get with it

More soccer what you think would i be able to get them cause i saw on Lyngsat it seem like a lot of soccer from all over there, and also if i have a a second lnb next to the main one would i be able to get intelsat 903 at 34w

We don't know that dish / lnbf too well here... it could be it is not too suitable until it's modified a bit..

can you see the information sticker on the LNBf and the settings for the lnb in the satellite receiver?

and what satellite/s should it be used on?

OK... you need another LNBf......... a ku universal 9.75-10.6 (about $6-$10?) because 30w is H/V not L/R (circular). You could just fasten it on the side of the Glogecast LNB and add a switch... that will mean you can get other satellites too that are H/V... using a circular LNBf on 30w might work but you will lose signal.

Hi, I have my brother just got hispasat and it's only 60% Q and also he only get 52 channels why is it so low i would like to know how many channels should he gets with aa normal setting, the elevation it catch the hispasat was at 30 he has a wineguard round dish Please help he wants more channels for soccer
 
Is it the lnbf not strong enough or the dish to small he has a 30 inch. would it make any different if he order a c/ku lnbf and other to get more channels now he only has a single ku should he gets c/ku instead or doesn't matter
 
Why is he expecting more? Theres only 50 or so channels transmitting on the USA beam - which you would know if you had checked the link & info you were given in post 32 properly.

If he wants more channels on Hispasat he will have to move to Europe!
