HITECH 5000 ALJAZEERA, NOVA ETC.. Not working anymore. help

Hi

I am new to the satellite software and editing keys, i would like some help from the experts.

I have a reciever Called HITECH 5000 its software version is v.240 and Loader ver v3.26
I bought through a man last year and it works through the internet ethernet cable.. I have all the scrumbbled channels working but then this year the channels stopped working.. i tried to contact the man whom i bought it from but i cant get hold of him.

do you have any idea of how to upgrade it or make it work again plz
