R.I.P Doris. Called 'the world's oldest virgin' (in her film career, I hasten to add).

Saw far too many of her rather sloppy films with parents first, then GFs in the '50's, early '60's, usually under protest.

Calamity Jane OK though.

I'm not at all sure I've watched any of her films but I felt like I had after reading the Mad magazine satires. Wasn't her birth surname something like Kapelhof?

RIP Doris

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

I've checked the list of her films and can safely say I've not watched any of them.

Then again she was more attune to non humans.

Yes Calamity Jane is the one that springs to mind, but would have to watch it again to know if I had watched it before so it must not have been memorable, R.I.P. Doris

Just remembered the Hitchcock thriller she starred in with James Stewart, The Man Who Knew Too Much. Assassins, kidnapping - somewhat untypical of Doris's usual stuff. Still, she gets to sing, as she is a songstress in the film (Que Sera, Sera).
