Honor Blackman, perhaps best known for her roles as Cathy Gale in The Avengers and Pussy Galore in Goldfinger, has died at the age of 94. She passed away from natural causes at her home in Sussex.

I have a DVD of some of her episodes of Chapeau Melon et Bottes de Cuir that I bought in France. To us it was The Avengers, to the French it was Bowler Hat and Leather Boots.

Which reminds me, it's sing along time:

RIP Honor, I actually preferred Diana Rigg in The Avengers (oh, the torture of being an adolescent in the 60's) but she was a great actress. She was also in the ITV sitcom "The Upper Hand"...

Only yesterday, I was watching one of her first film appearances in 'A Boy, A Girl And A Bike', one of many quaint old British films I tend to record from Talking Pictures TV.
