Hi, trying to find a set of these port savers in the UK or Europe:

_www.solidsignal.com/pview.asp?mc=09&p=PVFIX-2&d=BIRDOG-Connector-Port-Saver-2-Pieces-%28APBNC6%29&c=Connectors&sku=PVFIX-2

Has anyone even see these in the UK?, they come as standard with Birdog satellite meters in North America, they are branded as Horizon here in the UK.

They are used to prevent wear on the F-Type connectors on the face of the meter.

Cheers

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

Never seen them here, I suppose you could use a lightning protector device and recalibrate to suit, or a 5/10 dB F-Plug attenuator and remember what is connected.

We do have the push/quick-fit earthing type for SMATV equipment. I could send you a couple of spares if you are willing to cover the P+P

The connectors aren't too different to the Right Angle F connectors really...and easily accessible.

I use Quickfit F Type (Male - Female) connectors to connect to the meter, they simply push onto an F female, also on my Televes meter there is a replaceable female to female connector, so that helps.
