Horizon HDSM USB - Latest Firmware and software

Horizon have closed and stopped all support for their sat meters

Does anyone have a copy of the latest firmware, satellite lists and the software to install onto my Horizon HDSM v3 USB

You can try this: Horizon Global Electronics Ltd - signal strength meter - satellite signal meters - satellite dish equipment

If a given capture does not have the relevant file, try a different date.

Settings will be a problem, as they were generated online and resulted in a downloadable executable. Pretty stupid approach in my opinion...

I can get the drivers, manuals and the cleaning tool but I am unable to download the firmware

Then I used my old PC tower that blew up sometime ago I have a laptop now with windows 10 on it what will I need to install on it to enable me to plug my Horizon meter into it and update it

Hi, To update older meter you will need a USB to RS232 Serial adapter and the com-RJ45 Horizon programming lead (see diagram). You can also get a third party USB-RJ45 programming lead. USB to Serial cable for Horizon & BirDog satellite meters - RJ45 8 pin | eBay

The satellite settings are the same as USB/USB Plus, however this meter can only hold 32 Transponders.
