Hi Peyu75, woul you be so kind to sort out a sat list like you did for Windows 7. My Horizon is a V3 USB HDSM. I would really appreciate your help bud. Thanks in advance

I am very familiar with creating .pat files and .lst files with SatEdit1-23 for the HDSM meters. Is there a SatEdit software (or hex loader) that
works with the HD-S2 and HD-S2A meters?

I have seen reference and screenshots of S2_SatEdit.exe

I would like to be able to load my existing .hex files in the HD-S2A meter.

Colleagues, the program for making and uploading lists to the S2 model has never been made publicly available by the company. It cannot be found online. I have it because I made letters for horizon. When working with it, be careful not to damage the meter's software. That's why I connect to everyone I help with this program via watsapp and explain what needs to be done. Regarding the USB model, I also have the same program for it as above, colleagues attached in the posts. I do not write letters to him because it is very time consuming. Regards.

Hi

Can you explain it more detailed. What exactly is written on the display? I guess it says exceed current … which I think is because of a short circuit in the signal input terminals (f-connectors) or somewhere else in your meter.

Please check everything for any short circuits.

I now writing this the third time , due to some complications (after reply without log in and login afterwards, the reply was deleted… then second reply was deleted due to phone Akku was depleted… )… so again:

I guess the meter said exceed current. So please check your meter for any short circuits inside or at the signal input terminals / f-connectors or at the battery you have changed recently.

Hi

I guess the battery has some faulty cells inside or a massive disbalance.

So look with a multimeter for disbalance between the cells or for dead cells.

Measure up your cells inside the battery pack if the cells are ok. And look for disbalance.

Each cell should be at the same level as the other cells and between 3.7v and max 4.2v

All in all the battery should provide the voltage labeled outside 14.8v

Discharge the battery by hand outside till each cell is at about 3.7v or all in all voltage is at about at 12v.

Then reconnect the battery as labeled! First connect 2pin connector the the 4pin connector.

On disconnect last disconnect the 2 pin connector!
 
I have an old Horizon NanoSAT that doesn't contain the latest Astra Satellites.
What I am unclear on is because the satellite position is the same, 28.2e, does it matter that the name of the satellite has changed from Astra 2D to E/F/G will it still lock on? My testing didn't seem to show this and assumed I need to update it.
The update file is attached, from what I can tell they never released an update over the lifetime of the device.
Is it going to need the usual HEX file edit? Anyone know how?
