My Satellite Setup
Xtreme XSC-520H With 2 parbols I Astra 2 Hotbird
My Location
Barcelona Spain
Right, For the moment my dish is pointed at H/B 13° but I cant move it any more to the left because of a wall...
So could I just hook up another LNB and use the same dish...Its about 1.30M dia.?
If so where should I put the 2nd Astra 2D head (left or right of the H/B head/ and roughly at what distance? And Higher or lower because of the elevation?
The skew for 2D is -19° Elevation 35.3° ( for barcelona)
Didn't look to see what the skew and elevation of H/B is..but it works.
I suppose I could check all this out myself with a meter thingy..but I've lost it and will have to buy another one next week.
thanks

Hi, looking a the dish face, the 28E LNB will go to the left, and higher than the main one.

You won't be able to do it by putting at a set position, you are going to have to find where it needs to go by finding the best position based on signal quality.

I foresee problems: As you can't get the Dish itself aligned to 28E due to the wall, I'm not at all sure that an offset LNB, which is inefficient at the best of times, is going to succeed in this case.

But by all means give it a go - we all love to prove theory wrong!
