Fta(9E/13E/19E/28E) [Fixed Triax TD88]
1.1M motorised satellite dish [unbranded]
My Location
UK
As you know it’s the Chinese New Year today,so normally tune in to CCTV4 to watch the Spring Festival Gala show,to be met by a blank screen on CCTV4,CGTN etc on 11585V
There is no issue with the signal,which is 70% quality
Can anyone confirm,if there is an issue with the transponder?

it works fine here loud and clear
 
Stranage - 11585V is dead here too. I will have to have a tinker with the system

It seems to be the only DVB-S2 8PSK tp with fec 5/6 so I wonder if the skew needs a tweak.

it is somewhat weaker in reception:
here with 80 cms i get 70% ,
when TVE from spain has 85%level and quality
cctv4 has level 84 and quality 70% ,although the picture quality is perfect...
korea KBS has 87 level and 83 quality on 11642H2700
 
Im currently using an 895cm Penta so there should be plenty of signal here. I will get it back one way or another :D
 
All working OK here with my 88cm setup all receivers tried no problems 89% Signal Quality with TM5402HD M1.

Will try remedying the skew on the Triax 88cm dish

Just came in after three attempts at tweaking,lost signal completely at first attempt,picture restored with increased signal quality,now at 81%

Considering how strong the Hotbird signals are Im a bit surprised 11585H is so sensitive. A couple of other freqs have reappeared too, although there not a lot of interest on them & I hadnt noticed they were missing!
