What channel are you able to watch on Astra 3A?

Just tried first channel- 123sat and came on straight away

123sat is on Hotbird, you won't be able to view anything on Astra 3A from your location with that dish (and certainly not with a 6 degree monobloc LNB, when the other half is pointed at Hotbird), you are not telling your software to look for LNB B, or 2, it is just searching Hotbird on every satellite you try and some of them will have frequencies in common.

You need to tell it that Astra 19.2 is on the second input, then search.

MDR Sachsen is on Sirius2/3 isn't it-that works fine. Just checking again and I have searched by particular sat frequency in progdvb. For instance, miracle TV is shown under channel properties as 0235: Astra3a but see what you mean. Tried searching transponders and nothing. Sounds like Sirius is ok though?

Miracle TV is also on Hotbird.

MDR is on Astra 19.2.

Right, thanks Rolf, this is becoming clearer. Can't remember how to change the setting for LNB in progdvb though?

It should be at the bottom of the channel scan page when you select the satellite, it is a long time since I've used it.
