there is a lot of confusion, as there are so many mr, mrv, mrt firmawares available. this thread is dedicated to hotbird. please mention packages hacked on the hotbirds and their respective mr, mrv, mrt firmaware versions which can clear it.

this thread is to compile a list of packages on hotbird which are compromised

Sorry, gauch21 this is a very difficult question to answer as it depends on a lot of factors.

What equipment you have - receiver, card CAM, programmer availability of patches etc.

Also the situation can change all the time... If someone said what they could watch and others couldn't you will be flooded with 'how can I get that channel' questions...

The TPS - Multivision packages can be watched on some equipment just now that could change anytime.

Hope this helps a bit...

thanks gameboy, i just wanted to confirm what packages are clearing through matrix cam with latest firmwares with standard stb and setup.

tps and absat clearing on my setup

can hispasat be recieved in saudi arabia?

Got a starsat sr-x190D super
I was wondering if I'm getting all there is to get (As far as decoding is concerned)
Is there any good channel except multivision package ,Polsat and TPS that I can get through an upgrade?
I'm a beginner in this so plz help in simple language.
Thanx all
ps
by the way,I can access Nilesat and Arabsat as well as Hotbird

Cheers,

Thanx for your elaborate effort of listing all channels on Hotbird.
In view of that,I've got 2 Qs.
1-I can't tune in some of th channels of the list such as Historie,All except one MTV, and some other ones.Is it due to the fact that some of these belong to the KS beam of Hotbird or simply my starsat 190D super is unable to receive them?

2-Since majority of channels on Hotbird are non-English speaking and the audio opition ,too, usually offers not much help,is there some other way to hear the original sound tracks, which is 80% of American movies?

I do appreciate your answer.

Its all down to your dish size and signal/noise ratio

You will need to supply coordinates and other dish specs before anyone can tell if its location or poor installation.

Thanx for the answer, but my second question was left unanswered,

We still need your approximate location!

Thats a great list Neki. Thanks thats very useful. Must have taken you ages to do. Did you complie it from your reciever or from other sources? Or is there a quick way of making something like that via the pc?
