Hi, Could a fellow member advise if Hotbird etc will continue being received in the UK.

Yes it will - at least in the medium term. In the long term satellites being an important delivery method for transmitting tv into Europe will decline in importance as more & more services move towards iptv delivery.

There appears to be a new "south east" beam in use now which the Bulgarian operator is using which isnt available in the UK.

Over the past 10yrs I've been using a Gigablue Quad plus.
Do you think it is worth going for a 4k streaming box?
