Advice Needed How close can you install 2 40mm lnb,s

You can get a 3 degree monoblock LNB, or use thinner LNB's, like the bullet nose LNB.

Definitely depends on the type of multi bracket you are using. In these two photo's the LNB's are on 5E and 1W but I could have got them closer if it weren't for the large original mount on the Penta.

I've successfully got LNB's with longer feedhorns (E.G. Black Ultra's) mounted and touching by clamping one to the other using 40mm central heating pipe clamps (properly called Munson clamps). It's fiddly and works best on the all metal multi brackets I find, though it can be done. Is this for two sats that require standard LNB's rather than slimline ones as Mickha has suggested?

You also need to take into consideration the dish size too, on larger dishes the LNBs can be spaced out further. On an 80cm I can get satellites 4 degrees apart using two Black Ultras when they are touching but really they are not aligned spot on. For high power stuff it's not really noticeable but I notice it on my setup in Finland.

Having said that, on my setup, I found I was getting better results from a slightly misaligned Black Ultra than a properly aligned narrow 23mm Multiconnect LNB.
