My Satellite Setup
1 dish on hispasat 30W
1 dish on astra 13E
sky HD+ , tv cabo ,2 tecnomate 1500+

hi guys, i need some info about the Humax foxstar HDR, Can i connect 2 sat. (astra2 + hispasat ) on the humax HDR ? I was thinking this way; 2 cables from astra dish, and on 1 of those cables i could fit a diseq switch so i can connect the cable from the hispasat dish.so will be 1 cable direct to the unit and the other 2 via a diseq switch, is it possible ? will this set up work ?
Another question; freesat receivers, they are normal receivers aren't they? i can set it up on any satellite or not ?

Surely you mean Humax Foxsat HDR?
It has 2 tuners so your suggestion should work, provided it has support for Diseq.
Haven't seen it in the specification, so focus on this point first before buying it.
 
Press
Menu Setup
Freesat tune then press
Red Button Green Button Yellow Button Blue Button Green Button Yellow Button Blue Button

Then the Antenna settings option should appear.

and then you can access the Antenna Settings part of the menu. to set up your diseqc.
