How do I install EPG on Dreambox DM 800 S?

Hi there, I'm quite new to dreambox. I have a dm800s with hard disk and pli jade image. But I was wondering how I would go about installing a EPG similar to sky so I can view program's further in advance.

Any feed back would be much appreciated
 
You need to install an external plugin which goes and read the epg from somewhere like the Radio Times website.

There are a few suggestions here in the dreambox section of the forum.
 
There should be a seven day epg on that image if its a newish image, you just need to configure it from the settings. Try googling for DM 800 images and look for one with Crossepg installed.
 
Thanks for that, But could you tell me how to install cross EPG on the Dreambox when I've have downloaded it.

Wouldn't it be easier just to start with an image that has CrossEPG integrated into it (like OpenPLI)?
 
That sounds like the best option Huevos. The dm 800 s is a clone box, would openPLI be ok.
 
Open pli, is fine, if you go into plugins, then download plugins, you will come across Rytec epg , and xmltv import, install both parts, then reboot the box and then you can go and configure for what providers you want etc, then download and you will have seven day epg.
