How Do I Restore DM800?

My Satellite Setup
Dreambox DM500s, DM800HD, Sky+, minidish, Fortek star 90cm dish, Fortek Star Motor.
My Location
Newcastle England
Hi,
I have been trying to get ITVHD on my 800. I have messed about a bit and now I have lost all services which I have scanned.
I did a backup onto the hard drive a while ago.
Can anyone tell me how to restore all my settings as I can't remember.

It depends how you did the backup. Did you do an image backup or just the services + bouquets using something like DreamboxEdit?
 
Hi,
I backed up by pressing the green button then selecting backup/restore to the HDD.
When I press green and select restore, nothing happens.
What is the best way to backup my whole system so that I can restore everything to as it is when it's all working.

Hi Tom,
Your enigma2 menus will be slightly different to my enigma1 menus but, when I try to restore a backup in that way, a file browser opens up and I have to browse to wherever the backup is stored.

For a more complete backup, the method you chose is probably best because it backs up enigma settings and optionally plugins etc.

For backing up your services and bouquets, Dreambox edit and Dreambox Control Centre are two good options.
