how do you put an image on the dm8000 help please

i got my dreambox dm8000 and i am trying to get an image on there but i cant do it
i have you’d dcc but did not work
i tried to you dream up new version did not work what shall i do

I assume you have your network configuration set up OK.

The easiest way to load an image is by using your browser.

It's for the DB800, but the method is identical except that when you power off your box before transerring an image, to get to the 'Stop' message on the LCD window, you use the 'Down' button to the left the LCD instead.

I find that its easer just to use universal DreamUP V1.3.3.4 from here

just use a network cable and a Null modem cable, put the image file in the same folder that Dreamup is in

if you hold the button on the dm8000 it will only switch off

What image have you got on it at present?
When you power up from cold, what does it have on the LED display? Should be Dream Multimedia followed by the boot version and flash sequence.

Thats the power button mate. To enter the web interface to flash, you press and hold the lower left button.
