Hi, I have one Q. Many users are using irdeto card for a particular provider. So different users have different ending date. How receiver (CAS) is handling this. And also diff users have diff subscriptions like some one has 2 channel or some one 3 channel. How this is managed by receiver/CAS bye BT

Exactly. Each Irdeto smartcard is made for a specific provider. For example, someone is a subscriber of an operator using IRDETO in South Africa. He has an IRDETO smartcard. If this man moves to Greece or Cyprus (the sat operators at Greece and Cyprus also use Irdeto) he cannot use his south african in order to subscribe to the sat operator at Greece or Cyprus. He should buy a new card.

So different users have different ending date.

All the scrambled services are assigned products. Each smartcards is assigned products. If the smartcard is assigned at least one of the service's product, then the service is available. The smartcard of fifferent subscribers are assigned different products. It depends on the operator.
