The switch over to Nag 3 has been anticipated for a very long time now, but when is it actually going to happen for all the channels???

How far can they push it back????

And where else will the Pirates go???

Is this really the end of free pay channels????:-ohcrap

any thoughts anyone????

No-one knows - N2 will be switched off when the card swap is finally completed.

However one thing is certain - it will be sooner rather than later - we know from posts right here on the forum the swap was moving into its final stages earlier this year.

Aftr that the pirates have a couple of options:

pay a subscription for the desired channels

do without

:-rofl2

Here in Spain, Digital + has been cracked albeit with the use of a laptop which runs the encryption breaking software.

Also the pay Freeview channel of GOL has been cracked. (although GOL TV is rubbish and we get free premiership games in satudays AND sunday anyway)

The past few days have seen some people reporting a number of channels disappearing overnight on 1W, and returning the following morning.

The original March estimate has truly expired.

Nag3 cracked? If that were true it would be big news.

Not cracked in the usual way, but you can run decrypting software via a laptop to watch it.

I don't know what you mean by via the laptop. Either the encryption is broken or it isn't. The method is irrelevant. If it is that would mean Nag3 is cracked. Any online information to hard facts?

It basically means that you have to run a decryption program via a computer which is then out put onto a tv.

It has not caught on because its a lot of hassle and requires a top fo the range processor and lots of expensive equipment and knowledge.

Any online facts? Decryption algorithm, etc? If this were true it would mean Nag3 was cracked, not just Digital+. I doubt very much that anyone would be saying too much hassle. And these days computing power comes cheap.
