Since the digital terrestial switch-over I get far fewer TV channels on my TM7100 than before, now only 50, I get far more on my plasma TV tuner and Humax HDR-T2, why is this please ?

Does the 50 include the Freeview radio channels?

The Plamsa may have locked and stored transmissions from other transmitters; hence giving you a longer channel list. In saying that, 50 channels do seem low.

Firstly not knowing where in the UK you are people are going to struggle giving advice.

Your best bet is to compare your received channels to the transmitted channels, I am near Winter Hill so use this for comparison

Can you name some of the channels that you get on the TV which you don't get on the TM7100?

It's possible that your TV has tuned into a main transmitter but the TM has tuned into a relay transmitter and is getting the "Freeview Lite" offering.

I would have thought that 50 channels is probably about right, as there are just short of 40 actual SD channels, then another dozen or so pay channels, all of the other so called channels will probably be stored as data or radio on a non-branded Freeview receiver.
