I am about to install my first system and need to get my logic checked.
I want the dish to supply
1. HD Receiver linked to PVR
2. Have at least 2 other rooms each with their own SD receiver
3. As I pick up analogue signals (Irish channels) I want to feed these into the PVR
I understand that 2 LNB feeds will be required - one each for HD receiver and PVR. Will this be sufficient if the PVR has the ability to record more than one channel at a time?
The other rooms will each require an LNB feed. Therefore a quad LNB will be required.
In the future if I wanted to install a 2nd PVR could the signal be sent via a splitter?
Regarding combining the analogue signal, can a diplexer be fitted to combine the output from the HD receiver and ariel which is then connected to the PVR.
