How Many lnbs?

My Satellite Setup
90cm Fortec Star Dish
1.2mtr Channelmaster Dish
Manhattan Plaza 3300 Receiver
My Location
Neath, South Wales. UK
Can anyone advise me of how many lnb's could you fit on a 90cm dish and also a 1.2 mtr dish. I am not interested in motorising but i was hoping to be able to fit a few lnbs on both dishes to receive more than 1 satellite through to 1 receiver. Any advice appreciated

Go for a toroid dish

Seen a few with more than 8 lnb´s and heard of 16 :)

I have on with 6 lnb´s but it´s on the ground at the moment, doing some roof work:mad: but it will be back this summer.
 
On a 90cm dish, you can normally cover a span of up to 20 degrees, depending on the satellites. The spacing depends on which LNBs are used. Six degree separation is easily possible on most standard types.

So for example on a 90cm dish, you could have 1W,9E,13E,19E or 13E,19E,23.5E and 28E.

I've not tried on anything larger than a 1m, but I imagine that you would be able to fit and get a signal on 1 or 2 more. For example on my TD1.1 I have had 13E,16E,19E,23.5E and 28E, with 16E at the focus.
 
Im hoping to pick up the following satellites with the two dishes if possible.
0.8w, 4.8e, 7e, 10e, 13e, 16e, 19.2e and maybe 26e but i doubt i can get them all but i can but try although 8w seem to have good feeds to.

with 28e in the centre and 19,2 and 13 to one side that is 15 degrees i.e a total of 30 is at least possible, but the dish is maybe only 60 cm at 13degrees
 
You'll have difficulty, as you want the 1.2m focused on 26E, and the 90cm on 16E.

If you could get sufficient signal with 16E on an offset on the 1.2m, your'e in with a chance. You might have to focus the dish slighty more west than 26E, so that 16E gets enough.
 
Why not make one dish fixed with 4 LNB's and motorise the other to capture all the 'interesting' satellites ?

Your profile says Channel Master (which would be a pain to fit a multi LNB boom arm anyway - the supports get in the way), so either scour the auction site for a polarmount, or look at the Jaeger 1224 with additional offset brackets to get the full arc.

It really would be a superb setup if you have the matching C120 feed as well.
 
Yes, motorising would be a better option, if your'e up for it after all.

Have a look at the Sticky guides. Setting up the Jaeger 1224 is not that disimilar. You would need the Channel master adapter plate too.
