Absolutely silly - I think you have just created a thread like "The worst of Craigslist/Shopgoodwill/eBay etc" here on the US Pentax Forums photographic (mainly!) website
.Always good for a laugh at what rubbish (generally) is listed at stupid prices because of a combo of ridiculous estimates of what that stuff is worth, typos and prices generated by autobots!
It's also an object lesson to make sure you check your listings to ensure that you haven't made any similar "mistakes".

This happens quite a lot across eBay and appears to be an accepted mechanism for suspending an Item for a short-time without removing and relisting. Never having sold owt myself on eBay, I'd hazard a guess it's a trick to avoid repeat listing fees, or summat like that.

Whilst that's certainly true and is often done, there are many people who genuinely have a grossly inflated sense (or no sense at all!) of what stuff is worth, what people will actually buy and/or at what prices.

Nope - I hope I'm savvy enough to know what I want and how much it's "worth". TBH, I have more problems with stuff on Amazon with all the fake "5 star" reviews, and so I always read the 1 & 2 star ones first to find out what's bad about a product - and even the complete lack of those is often a good indicator of a "dubious product"!
