How to calculate antenna gain?

If i know the eirp of the spot in my location and i have the received power(dBuV) and c/n measured by the satellite meter how can i calculate the gain of the antenna?

I`v searched by the net for over a week and all i can find are calculation indicated by ham operators (rf real transmision power antenna+transceiver or how to calculate the eirp emision power of wireless sistem)

Maybe someoane has a hint.

I don't know the calculation, I just use a table, such as this:

You cannot measure gain of an antenna on its own. All the devices you connect have their own indivual performance characteristics, and the gain of a dish varies as a result of the frequency received as well as the polarity (moreso on an offset dish).

The best you might get away with, is to look for a similar dish to your one in a magazine, and use the gain specification as a rough marker. Beware that many branded dishes have suspect performance figures to help with sales.
