how to connect sky dish and hotbird dish to dreambox 500

i have dreabox with sky connected, but i want toi add hotbird dish

im a newmbie to this satelite stuff however im willing to learn. this may sound abit complicated!

ihave a dreambox with sky dish connected to it in my room. i have a technomate reciever with hotbird dish connected to it in the living room.

i would like to know how i can get another connection from the hotbird dish and join it with sky to recienve sky and hotbird in my room and have the hotbird connection as it is in the living room

Put a dual or quad lnb on the Hotbird dish.

Put the original cable into one of the outlets.

Disconnect the Sky dish cable.

Get a 2port disecq switch and connect the hotbird and sky dishes to it.

Connect the outlet port to the original bedroom cable. (Dont forget to waterproof the 3 connectors with self amalgam tape or heatshrink)

Set the disecq switching up on the bedroom rx.

Away you go :)

Yes. (As long as you reconnect the cable to the new lnb!)

Switch both of the receivers off AND unplug them from the wall before you start tinkering with cable connections.
 
anywhere i could buy them for cheap?
 
hey sorry but im still not clear with this.

do i need to take out sky cable from my room and feed in a new cable that comes from the hotbird dish and also where do i have the diseqc switch in my room or with my dish? do i need to buy extra cablee?
