I use Dreamboxedit. Do you not have this to use with your Dreambox? If not, download a copy and FTP your channel list from the VU+ to your computer. It's fairly simple to create favourites, then FTP them back to the VU+.

It is easy to do with the remote control. Just bring up a chaannel list and press the menu key, then follow the options.
