Hello,

Just wondering how can I get proper R18 movies, not the soft p**n that is on the adult channel etc...but R18 movies. I have heard the private spice card is one way? I have a freesat Satelite up and a sky box so pick up all the freesat channels, could I just buy a private spice card and put it into my freesat sky box? Or would I need to get a whole new dish and box? Also is this legal? as I have seen the private spice card advertised. Or does anyone know of any other way via satelite etc I can get R18 movies other than going to a local adult shop??

Cheers

Simon

Several of our supporting advertisers sell adult cards, you will need a new dish pointing at another satellite (which satellite will depend on which card you buy) and a digital receiver with the correct conditional access.

Thanks for that. Which is a good channel for R18 movies? and what would be the new dish pointing at another satellite and the digital receiver with the correct conditional access for that? Or would would be the new dish pointing at another satellite and the digital receiver with the correct conditional access for private spice? and what other channels would I get if I got the private spice option? Also is this legal?

My advice would be to get a new dish and point it at 13e ( Where you can view Private Spice ) you will also need a suitable box ( A cheap linux box will be just fine ) this will save you the cost of a cam.
As for it being legal, I would say as long as it is for your own viewing then there is no issue but of course be careful if you have minors living in the house.

Thanks, what size or type of dish would I need? Could I just install the dish myself? how hard is it? ie knowing which direction to put it in?

In terms of a box, how about a Humax box?

What other channels can you get with the dish poiting at 13e?

Cheers!!!

PS on my freesat there is an option to change the frequency under settings, can I not just change the setting to hotbird on that?

Which Humax is it, I don't know of the top of my head what card readers they have in. Though you can use them in non freesat mode.

The best solution would be a dish for 13e, A sky Zone1 will do, and a technomate reciever with either a Viaccess or Irdeto2 cardreader (most will accept both) you can them choose between 3 or 4 susbcriptions. Any of the forum sponsors will be able to sort you out with the kit. for example _http://southernsat.co.uk/cart/index.php?l=product_list&c=44

Thanks for that.

Sorry its not a humax I have its a sky plus box and a Freesat Satellite Dish with QUAD LNB 43cm Elliptical.

Do you think it would work if when I goto setting and change the frequency? If so, what frequency would I need to change it too, to pick up hotbird?

Also, if this doesnt work, would it be easy for me to install myself if I have to get a new dish etc like what you were saying?

Cheers!

No, the Sky+ box is only good for Sky or Freesat from Sky.

If you have a dish pointed at 28.2 then just get another cheap dish 60cm and point it at almost the same position as the current dish and then move it a few degrees until you get the sat you need.

If you call any of the board sponsors I am sure they can put together a package for you.

Thats the general idea :D

If you go for a basic elbow mount, you just bolt it to the wall, stick the dish on it and line it up.

You can normally use the receiver as a rough alignment tool as long as you can see the tv its plugged into. Thats how i started.

WOS are World of Satellite, A very trustworthy company that don't sell rubbish :D

So its simple as that, WOS would just send me the dish, box and card and I just fix the dish up and connect it too the box/tv? Is it easy to do for someone who has no technical ability?

What do I ask for when I call WOS?? I know I want hotbird.

I have decided to go with a Mortoised dish with multiple LNBs and would I still pick up Private Spice with that??

Thanks!

Either go for a motorised syatem, or a fixed dish, with multiple LNB's, combining the two is not really practical, as when you move your dish the other LNB's probably will not align to any satellites.
You might mean a motorised dish with a twin, or quad, LNB, that gives multiple feed options, from the satellite your dish is pointing at, allowing you the option of viewing on other receivers or recording while viewing other channels.
