now that I think of it, there's a bug in Mary's PPanel - if you check your /var directory, you'll probably find 2 directories : /var/var/keys and /var/var/scce
this is wrong - you can delete these directories as they will never be used. Go to /var/etc/ppanel and edit the Mary xml file. Look for the "satan" line, at the end of this line you will find the following : "-C /var/;"
change this into "-C /;" and save the xml file. Satan will now be copied into the /var/keys and /var/scce directories, where it belongs.
use an unix editor to edit any dreambox file (best use DCC on your pc !).

I have CCcam 1.7.0 and Gbox 2.25 running but I have a problem now. When I switch to France4 on hotbird after few seconds picture appears (as normal)but then freezes and disappears, samething happens with multivision channels, cartoon network, boomerang, etc…. other channels such as BBC Prime, MTV France, Baby channel etc… are unaffected.

What could be the problem?............Please help?

are u using cccam or gbox as emulator on TPS ?
it's been a few days since I checked my French channels, but everything was working then. You're not using cardsharing, are you ? If so the keys aren't being send on time. And no, I don't do cardsharing either, so can't help you if that's your problem.
CCCam should be working fine with TPS.

I am using cccam on TPS. I do not do cardsharing either. It was working fine three days ago but not now.

May be it is due to updating cccam from v1.30 to 1.70?

Reason for asking this that the sky viewing card I have is damaged and the chip is also very lose and does not stay at the right position. I am worried that it may damage the dreambox.

Which image has good volume output? I have noticed that Pli and gemini both have much lower than my sky digibox box. Is there a menu setting to raise this?

I have heard that BSKYB has been hacked again recently (a research student from the UK university has done it). Keys are not available on the internet but you can get them from some small local tv/video repair shops in the East Midlands area. Is there any body aware of this?
