how to key keys decription on a remote control?

hi there ,
i have horizon hf 2000d = arion af 1000 when i first got it
many of the coded channels where displayable (on hotbird). now none of them is .
so i guess the codes have changed . i have no idea how to get them
back . so would you explain to me how to do it via remote control?
step by step plz cause I AM A ROCKIE.

Even if I know very well where to get keys (hex and or decimal) and know how to edit keys, this may be true only with my receivers, and in answering your question in such a way that will suffice you I may have shortcomings. But anyhow, I hope that you asked "how to do it via remote" simply because you can see (in your menu) that there is a chance for that, is this right?

Receivers with keyeditor accepts either hex or decimal format. In your receiver's menu find anyone of these (if its available): code edit or key edit. You can then play with your keys! Enjoy!
