Which hobby boxes (or cheap professional units) can be used to receive 4:2:2 feeds?

I know the Skystar PCI Card is one - but I was after an actual set top box..

I've heard of the Tandberg Altai(sp?) but can't seem to source one..

Any recommendations?

:)

A Quali tv stb will do the trick.Try ebay.

Yes, the QualiTV will do 4:2:2 (if they're still available). A bit un-user friendly I believe, expensive too. Much better to use a PC-based one for feeds.

The AZ Box Premium HD receiver has recently been confirmed to display 4:2:2 feeds by users on a number of forums.

According to the reports, it's already working for DVB-S MPEG2 4:2:2 but not for DVB-S2 MPEG4 4:2:2.

Soon the AZ will work on all feeds :)

so according to the post on that german forum it works on everything but dvb s2 4.2.2 hd.
god theres always somethin missing.... ill wait for a box that does it all.

For a proper feedhunters machine, I think it really needs to have blindsearch implemented as well. But at least there is now an option other than the flakey Quali.

dreambox, eage and a few others work too via home network back to pc

i have been using a quali box to view 422 sports feeds but over the last few months they have changed to 422 dvb s2 and i cant view them now

is the only way to view these with a PC card or is there a receiver out there that anyone can recommend to view feeds such as this

Eutelsat W1 (10.0°E)
Frequency: 11098 - Pol: V - SR: 14400 - FEC: 2/3
Category: Sport - Tennis
Transmitted in: MPEG-2 4:2:2
Comments: ATP tour Rome in SD/DVB-S2
